In fact, by combining these product fulfillment/distribution capabilities with Solectron Channel Returns, we provide fast, efficient, on-time delivery of field replaceable units (FRUs) and customer replaceable units (CRUs) to field office engineers, authorized service providers (ASPs) and end-users.

In support of Solectron’s Service Parts Logistics, Solectron Global Services offers demand and supply planning, procurement and end-of-life buys. We receive and process orders, track and manage defective returns and maintain accurate inventories of all products. We handle fulfillment of customer orders, repair and repackaging, managing suppliers and the return to vendor process. In addition, we manage all facets of materials management–regionally and globally–making sure the right parts are in the right place at the right time. All of our processes, such as new buy, alternate sourcing, recovery and warranty redemption, are backed by strong information technology systems that track and communicate key information to both our suppliers and customers.
